Steps

  • Stand in Tadasana, bending your knees lift your left foot up crossing over the right one.
  • Make sure that your left foot is kept over the right thigh and the right foot is placed firmly on the floor. The left foot’s toes should be always pointing downwards.
  • Initially bring the arms forward holding them parallel to the floor. Then cross the right arm over the left arm and bend your elbows. A check should be kept that the back of your hands are facing towards each other.
  • Now slowly turn your hands in a way that the palms face each other.
  • Press the palms together and stretch the fingers upwards.
  • Then slowly undo the hands and bring them to the side of your body.
  • Finally raise your left leg and bring it back on the floor and slowly return to Tadasana.
