Frog Pose – Yoga For Beginners

  • Beneficial for mental cramps.

  • Stretches your hips and inner thighs.

Steps

  • First lie down on your yoga mat. Now keep the soles of your feet together.
  • Raise your legs up maintaining the soles still together.
  • Next, lay your one foot on the other and lift as much as possible. The weight on the foot will press the other end.
  • Remain in this pose for a couple of seconds.

Precaution

Avoid in case of: Ankle injuries, Knee injuries, Back pain.

Using a Wall to Press into Splits – Yoga For Beginners

  • Sit facing towards a wall.
  • Stretch your legs sideways with feet against the wall.
  • Press your hips in forward direction. This could be a bit difficult for the new learners.
  • Close your eyes and remain in this pose for sometime.
  • Remember, your arms should be at the back of the torso touching the mat.
  • You can also bring your chest in forward direction, near to the wall.

Stretch for Hips and Undersides of Legs – Yoga For Beginners

Steps

  • Lengthen both your right and left legs towards the sides. In such a way that the stretch should be felt on the underside of legs.
  • Then, hold your left toes with the right hand.
  • Always gaze upwards with chest open.
  • Continue the above steps with the other arm.
  • Return to an upright position and walk forward on fingertips.

Front Body Stretches – Yoga For Beginners

  • Reduces tension from the muscle.
  • Boosts up muscular coordination.

Steps

  • Gently, keep the soles of the feet together in front area of your groin.
  • Interweave your fingers under the feet.
  • Raise your head slightly.
  • Stay in this posture for a few seconds.
  • Hope you are prepared to take this extended stretch forward.
  • Bring your chest forward.
  • Kneel your entire body forward, keeping your forehead on the ground.
